Larry Varholak brings over 30 years of engineering experience to his position as President of OPM Aerospace & Industrial. He began his career as a Structural Analyst with Sikorsky in 1980 and held this role for eight years. In 1989, Larry took a position with Dow–United Technologies Composite as their COO and VP of New Business Development. At Dow he developed industry leading patented technology enabling business formation and managed developmental programs for Boeing, Lockheed Martin and DARPA.

In 2000, Larry moved on to KLM Industries where he served as the company’s COO and managed a $500M enterprise. Larry returned to Sikorsky in 2009 as Chief Engineer of the S-92 and also served in the capacity of Director of Fleet Analytics until joining Oxford Performance Materials. 

Larry earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Bridgeport, and is a licensed structural engineer. He has authored two publications and holds four U.S. patents and two foreign patents.
